Winter-Challenge 2025 (Start am Samstag)
at the modern, heated indoor shooting range of Waffen-Albert in 97424 Schweinfurt, Am Stichlein 9 (directly on the A70).
Registration opens automatically on Sunday, Oct. 20th, 2024 at 12.00 pm (High Noon).
Weapons, ammunition and outfit
according to the BDS Western Shooting sports manual. At least 60 revolver shots, 60 WHR shots and around 30 shots of buckshot are required.
Registration
Anyone who competes on both shooting days must take the following into account for the scoring: If you compete in the same scoring class on both days, only the "Friday result" will be counted. If you compete in different scoring classes, both results will be counted. Anyone who shoots on both days must also pay the entry fee twice, but will receive a "food dollar" worth 10 euros as a "discount". Cash refunds are not possible.
Safety
Wearing hearing protection and safety glasses on the stage is compulsory for everyone present (including spectators). Only NC and not black powder can be used on this shooting range. Only lead bullets, no partial or full metal jacket bullets are permitted.
All participants are obliged to help out. "If you can shoot, you can help!" :-)
All participants in the competition are subject to a strict alcohol ban.

Prizes
The scoring is based on "total time". Each participant receives a certificate and a souvenir. There is a special prize for the best "clean match".
Camping
There are only a few parking spaces (free of charge, no electricity) left for caravans and mobile homes on the site behind the building. Please inquire separately with the Albert co. (09721-4763453). We will be happy to inform you of other overnight accommodation options on request.
Schedule
8:00 a.m.: Registration and distribution of starting documents
9:00 a.m.: Match briefing and then start of the match
The award ceremony takes place after the last shot and the ranges have been cleared up.
